چکیده
Some questions concerning Bose-Einstein correlations in multiple particle production processes. Abstract Most models of Bose-Einstein correlations in multiple particle production processes can be ascribed to one of the following three broad classes: models based on the original idea of the Goldhabers, Lee and Pais, hydro-dynamic models and string models. We present for discussion some basic questions concerning each of these classes of models.

Data on Bose-Einstein correlations yield information about the interaction regions in multiple particle production processes. The conclusions are model dependent. Several popular models are briefly presented , compared and discussed.

We report on a systematic treatment of Coulomb corrections for 3-and n-particle (Bose-Einstein) correlations, leading to a removal of a 100 % systematic error from earlier Coulomb corrections of 5-particle Bose-Einstein correlations in heavy ion collisions. These results are generalized to include strong final state interactions and core-halo effects.

Effects of quantum statistics are clearly seen in the final states of high-energy multiparticle production processes. These effects are being widely used to obtain information about the regions where the final state hadrons are produced. Here we briefly present and discuss the assumptions underlying most of these analyses.

The QCD sector of the system SANC is presented. QCD theoretical predictions for several processes of high energy interactions of fundamental particles at the one-loop precision level for up to some 3and 4-particle processes are implemented.
